通解（意訳）
正月の一日は、その年の初めての日であり、初めての月であり、年の初めであり、春の始まりである。
この正月一日を迎えられる事に心から感謝し、新たな決意や希望をもって、信心で迎えて祝う人は、月が西から東を照らしながら満ちていくように、太陽が東から西へ渡りながら輝きを増すように、功徳も大きく増していき、月や太陽のような存在となって、人々からも愛され、慕われていくのである。

New Year’s Day marks the first day, the first month, the beginning of the year, and the start of spring.
A person who celebrates this day will accumulate virtue and be loved by all, just as the moon becomes full gradually, moving from west to east, and as the sun shines more brightly, traveling from east to west.

If you appreciate being able to celebrate this New Year, celebrate with new resolve, hope, and faith, your benefits will greatly increase, as the moon rises from the west to the east, the sun will rise from the east to the west.
And, you will be like the moon and the sun, loved and respected by people.
