通解（意訳）
日蓮は、日本国の東国の片田舎の者で、安房の国東条の郷・海辺の旃陀羅（せんだら・漁師）の子であり、名誉も財産も地位もない身である。
むなしく朽ちるであろう、この身を法華経のために捨てることができるのは、ちょうど石を金にかえるようなものではないか。

English Gosho
Nichiren is the son of a chandāla[;fisherman] family who lived near the sea in Tōjōin Awa Province, in the remote countryside of the eastern part of Japan.
How could giving a body that will decay uselessly for the sake of the Lotus Sutra not be exchanging rocks for gold?

    御書の英文との対訳はどうですか 英語で学ぶ御書 みたいな。出版されていると嬉しいです。 あとSGIのliturgy of nichiren buddhism の英文と日本文の対訳はどうですか。

      「英語で学ぶ御書」は当初参考にさせていただきました。
      単語ごとの対訳という意味でしょうか？
      英文が先で日本語の御書が後ということでしょうか？
      このブログが出版されるとなると、私も嬉しいのですが😁
      勤行要典の英訳と日本語訳は、法華経をしっかり勉強しないといけないですね。
