通解(意訳)
 仏法を持ち、伝えていく人がいなければ、それはちょうど木石の像が衣を着て、鉢を持っているようなもので、何の役にも立っていない。

 正しい仏法を、正しく伝える人がいるからこそ、人と法と、どちらも共に尊いものなのである。

English Gosho

 One was found there who could embrace these sutras and teach them to others. It was as though there were only wooden or stone statues garbed in priests’ robes and carrying begging bowls.

[ Because there is a person who tells right Buddhism right, both of a person and a law are noble together. ]
