日替わり御書 Daily-Gosho

本文 法華経を信ずる人は冬のごとし 冬は必ず春となる、 いまだ昔より きかず・みず 冬の秋と かへれる事を、いまだきかず 法華経を信ずる人の凡夫となる事を、 経文には「若有聞法者無一不成仏」ととかれて候 妙一尼御前御消息 ［冬必為春事］ （１２５３頁） 建治元年５月 （１２７５年） 通解（意訳）  法華経を信ずる人は、極寒の冬の辛い時期を耐える人のようなものである。 しかし、辛い冬も永遠に続くことはなく、信心根本に耐え貫いていけば、必ず春のような幸福が訪れるのである。  未だかつて、冬が春とならずに秋に戻ったということは、聞いたことも見たこともない。同じように、いまだかつて法華経を信ずる人が、仏に成らず凡夫のままである、ということも聞いたことがない。 経文には「もしこの法を聞くことがあれば、一人として成仏しない人はいない」と説かれている。 English Gosho  Those who believe in the Lotus Sutra are as if in winter, but winter always turns to spring.  Never, from ancient times on, has anyone heard or seen of winter turning back to autumn.
