月月・日日につより給へ・すこしも たゆむ心あらば 魔 たより をうべし

通解（意訳）
月々日々に、信心を強めていきなさい。少しでも信心にゆるむ心が出てくれば、魔がその心の隙につけこんで襲ってくるであろう。

  • This phrase is quintessence of the faith.

 Today than yesterday, tomorrow than today. It is time to fight now at a moment at a moment. This time is the struggle with the Demon now. Therefore, If you forget a heart to make faith strong, the Demon takes advantage of the chance.

湿れる木より火を出し乾ける土より水を儲けんが如く強盛に申すなり - praying as earnestly as though to produce fire from damp wood, or to obtain water from parched ground.

蒼蝿驥尾に附して万里を渡り 碧蘿松頭に懸りて千尋を延ぶ - A blue fly, if it clings to the tail of a thoroughbred horse, can travel ten thousand miles, and the green ivy that twines around the tall pine can grow to a thousand feet.
