通解（意訳）
智者とは、世間の法（現実社会の道理）から離れて仏法を行ずることはない。世間の治世の法を十分に心得ている人を、智者というのである。

  • 社会を離れて仏法はない

　生活上の事象一つ一つが、そのまま仏法そのものです。仏法の智慧の光は、苦悩渦巻く現実の社会の中でこそ輝き、希望となり、勇気となり、安心となります。（中略）　社会を離れて仏法はありません。仏法の慈悲と智慧の力で、社会に貢献し、社会を正しく導いていてこそ真の「智者」です。そして、仏法の英知が発揮された社会は、必ず栄えていくのです。

Interpretation (liberal translation)
  • The Buddhism is not a thing apart from the reality society

 A phenomenon in all life is just Buddhism itself. The light of the wisdom of the Buddhism glistens in society of the reality that a suffering swirls, it becomes the hope, it becomes the bravery and becomes reliable.  (omission)  The Buddhism is not the thing which left the society.Buddhist must contribute and lead to the society by mercy of the Buddhism and power of the wisdom.They has the true wise man. and the society where wisdom of the Buddhism was shown prospers by all means.
