すこしも・へつらはず振舞仰せあるべし - you must act and speak without the least servility.

同くは・なげきたるけしきなくて此の状に・かきたるが・ごとく・すこしも・へつらはず振舞仰せあるべし、中中へつらふならば・あしかりなん、
設ひ所領をめされ追い出し給うとも十羅刹女の御計いにてぞ・あるらむと・ふかくたのませ給うべし。

通解（意訳）
同じ一生ならば、嘆いたような様子を見せずに、あなたがこの誓状に書かれた「決して退転しない」という強い決意のように、少しもへつらわず、今までのあなたの振舞い通りに、誠実に、堂々と振舞い、語っていきなさい。中途半端にへつらうようなことがあれば、かえって状況が悪くなるであろう。
たとえ所領を没収され、追い出されたとしても、それは諸天善神である十羅刹女の御計いであり、「必ず意味がある事だ」と、信心の眼で受け取って、より深く信心を奮い起こして、諸天にゆだねておきなさい。

English Gosho
Since it will be the same in any event, do not betray grief. Just as you have written in your letter, you must act and speak without the least servility.
If you try to curry favor, the situation will only worsen. Even if your fiefs should be confiscated or you yourself driven out, you must think that it is due to the workings of the ten demon daughters [ the Goddness of Gods ], and wholeheartedly entrust yourself to them.
