通解(意訳)
一念三千の法理を知らない末法の衆生に対して、仏は大慈悲を起こし、妙法蓮華経の五字に一念三千の珠をつつみ、仏の生命を大御本尊として曼荼羅に顕して、末法の無知で幼いすべての衆生が、自身の仏の境涯を開くことができるようにして下さったのである。


English Gosho
Showing profound compassion for those unable to comprehend the gem of the doctrine of three thousand realms in a single moment of life,
the Buddha wrapped it within the five characters [ of Myoho-renge-kyo ], with which he then adorned the necks of the ignorant people of the latter age.
