通解（意訳）
善男子・善女人が、この法華経（＝御本尊）を受持し、南無妙法蓮華経と唱えたてまつるならば、地獄界・餓鬼界・畜生界の三悪道にを脱れることができると説かれたのである。これ以上のことがあろうか。頼もしいことである、頼もしいことである。

If good men and good women embrace the Lotus Sutra [; Gohonzon ] and chant Nam-myoho-renge-kyo, they can escape being condemned to these three evil paths*.
What could be more wonderful than this? Here is something to rely on, something to rely on indeed!

It is the wold of hell, the world of hungry spirits, the world of animals.
If good men and good women embrace the Lotus Sutra [; Gohonzon ] and chant Nam-myoho-renge-kyo, they can escape being condemned to these three evil paths*.
What could be more wonderful than this? Here is something to rely on, something to rely on indeed!
