強盛の大信力をいだして 法華宗の四条金吾・四条金吾と 鎌倉中の上下万人 乃至 日本国の一切衆生の口にうたはれ給へ、
あしき名さへ流す 況や よき名をや 何に況や 法華経ゆへの名をや、
女房にも 此の由を云ひふくめて 日月・両眼・さう の つばさ と 調ひ給へ

通解（意訳）
強盛な大信力を出して「法華宗（日蓮仏教）の四条金吾」と言われるほどに信心の実証を示しきって、鎌倉中の上下万人、そして日本国のすべての人々に言われるようになりなさい。
 悪名でさえ流れるものだ。ましてや、善き名を流すのは当然であり、さらには法華経ゆへの名において、という事は言うまでもない。
 女房にもこの事を言い聞かせて、太陽と月・両方の眼・左右の翼のように、二人がしっかり力を合わせて、一緒に信心に励んでいきなさい。

English Gosho
 Bring forth the great power of faith, and be spoken of by all the people of Kamakura, both high and low, or by all the people of Japan, as “Shijō Kingo, Shijō Kingo of the Lotus school[;Nichiren Buddhism.] !”
 Even a bad reputation will spread far and wide. A good reputation will spread even farther, particularly if it is a reputation for devotion to the Lotus Sutra. 
 Explain all this to your wife too, and work together like the sun and moon, a pair of eyes, or the two wings of a bird.
